Expand the capabilities of your xTool P3 engraver to include precise engraving of metal and plastics—without the need for spray or any prior preparation. The xTool Infrared Module offers 5 W optical power, a wavelength of 1064 nm, and a peak power of up to 65 kW, allowing you to create permanent markings and detailed designs even on challenging materials. A laser spot size of approximately 0.03 mm ensures exceptional precision, while the 650 × 426 mm working area and a processing speed of up to 1000 mm/s enable efficient completion of both small and larger projects.

Precise 1064 nm Beam for Demanding Tasks

The 1064 nm infrared laser enables precise engraving on materials that pose a challenge for conventional diode and CO₂ lasers. The module is ideal for working with materials such as gold, silver, copper, stainless steel, and aluminum, enabling the creation of durable, high-contrast markings. It can be used both for personalizing jewelry—such as rings, pendants, and bracelets—and for applying serial numbers or barcodes to components. A laser spot size of approximately 0.03 mm allows for even more precise reproduction of fine design elements, thin lines, and text, which is particularly useful when creating complex engravings. A pulse width of 4 ns and a peak power of up to 65 kW further support precise processing, making the module ideal for both personalizing small items and creating detailed markings.

The IR laser is also well-suited for engraving plastics, such as acrylic. It allows for clean markings without burn marks, making it suitable for both decorative projects and the personalization of everyday items.

Full integration with the xTool P3

The module is designed to work with the xTool P3 system and is powered directly by the engraver, which reduces the number of additional cables and simplifies installation. Integrated air cooling helps maintain proper operating conditions—just be sure not to block the ventilation openings. For optimal results, ensure proper focus adjustment at a focal length of 49 mm. The recommended operating temperature range is 0°C to 35°C.
