How to choose: Match the protocol to your receiver (ELRS/CRSF/ACCESS/DSMX), pick Mode 1 or 2, and decide on form factor (traditional vs gamepad). If you fly multiple systems, get a radio with a module bay. Long-range links use 868/915 MHz (check local legality); for racing/freestyle, prioritise low latency on 2.4 GHz ELRS.
