How to choose: For easy, clean results pick PLA/PLA+. Need heat/impact toughness? choose PETG (enclosure not required). Outdoor/UV-resistant parts → ASA (best in enclosure). Flexible prints → TPU (direct-drive easier). High-strength & stiffness → PA-CF/PET-CF (use a hardened nozzle and keep filament dry).
Use 0.4–0.6 mm nozzles for fiber-filled materials; print ABS/ASA/PA in an enclosure to reduce warp; and dry hygroscopic filaments before critical parts. Always check your printer’s max temps and bed surface compatibility.
