Description

Unitree A2-W Pro

Unitree A2-W Pro is a mobile industrial platform designed to operate in highly complex environments. Weighing approximately 37 kg (including batteries), it combines a robust design with high power reserves and dynamic movement. The robot moves at speeds of up to 5 m/s, transports loads of up to 25 kg during operation, and can easily handle loads of up to 100 kg in static mode. The A2-W Pro version also uses an efficient wheel drive, allowing it to move much more efficiently over longer distances.

It works well in places where other platforms fail

The A2-W Pro is designed for environments where classic mobile platforms could prove unreliable. The robot safely climbs steps up to approximately 30 cm high and moves on slopes with an incline of up to 45°. It maintains control and balance on stairs, debris, and uneven surfaces, while advanced control algorithms enable smooth transitions between maneuvers and directions. The wheel configuration further increases speed and smoothness on various types of terrain.

Improved drive system and mechanics

The robot's mobility is provided by a set of 12 low-inertia internal rotor PMSM motors. This system ensures instantaneous response even under heavy loads. A maximum torque of approximately 180 N·m enables stable operation in dynamic operating scenarios, while the use of industrial cross bearings in the joints increases movement precision and extends the service life of the mechanics. The whole unit is based on an aluminum alloy and damage-resistant plastic construction.

Fast transport platform

The Unitree A2-W Pro works well as a mobile work base for transporting equipment, tools, or measuring instruments in places that are difficult to access or dangerous for humans. While walking, the robot can carry loads of up to approximately 25 kg, while in stationary mode, the structure can handle loads of up to 100 kg. The wheel drive further increases transport efficiency over longer distances, while maintaining the ability to overcome terrain obstacles such as unevenness or variable surfaces.

Increased awareness of the environment

The A2-W Pro model uses an advanced environmental perception system. The HD camera works with two LiDAR sensors, which provides a wide field of view and reduces blind spots, increasing navigation safety. This configuration allows for more accurate mapping of the space and stable operation in dynamic conditions. But that's not all – additional front lighting improves performance after dark and in dark places such as unlit halls, tunnels, and other industrial facilities.

Power reserve for long-term field operations

The A2-W Pro uses a dual battery system with a capacity of 9000 mAh each. Without load, it can operate for up to approximately 5 hours and cover a distance of 20 km, and with a load of 25 kg, the operating time reaches approximately 3 hours, which translates into a distance of up to 12.5 km. The hot-swap design allows batteries to be replaced without stopping the robot, which is important for tasks requiring continuous operation. The system remains stable at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C, meaning it will perform well even in harsh conditions.

Extensive expansion options

The standard platform is based on an 8-core processor supporting system functions and an Intel Core i7 unit designed for user application development. A more powerful computing module is also available as an option. OTA update support allows software to be developed without downtime, and integration with additional components is facilitated by a rich set of communication interfaces: RS485, CAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB-C ports. In addition, the Pro version allows the use of GPS/4G modules and wireless tracking modules.

Real-time voice messages

The built-in microphone and speaker enable voice communication and real-time messaging. This is practical support for operational safety in industrial environments, where it is important to signal the presence of the robot and inform staff about the status of tasks being performed.

Ready for demanding scenarios

Unitree A2-W Pro is a flexible platform designed to perform complex tasks in the field. You can successfully use it in infrastructure inspections, logistics, patrols, and rescue operations. The combination of impressive mobility, advanced perception, and high computing power makes the robot a foundation for specialized implementations in the most demanding operating conditions.
