Description
Unitree A2 Pro
The Unitree A2 Pro industrial quadruped robot stands out thanks to its precise analysis of its surroundings, high resistance to mechanical damage, and high computing power. It weighs approximately 37 kg (with batteries) and combines solid construction with dynamic movement. It can reach speeds of up to 5 m/s, carry loads of up to 25 kg while walking, and hold up to 100 kg in a static position. This makes it ideal for the most demanding tasks.
Freedom of movement in demanding environments
The A2 Pro has been adapted to work wherever standard mobile systems lose their effectiveness. It easily climbs steps up to 30 cm high and slopes up to 45°, allowing it to move efficiently on stairs, rubble, embankments, and uneven rock formations. In addition, advanced control algorithms ensure stability and smooth movement even during sudden maneuvers, which translates into trouble-free task execution in the field.
It is not afraid of heavy loads
The robot is powered by a set of 12 PMSM motors with low-inertia rotors, which guarantee fast response and precise motion control. In addition, the use of industrial cross bearings in the joints increases the durability of the system and the accuracy of operation even under prolonged load. A torque of approximately 180 N·m allows for smooth movement when transporting heavy loads, and the body made of aluminum alloy and durable plastics effectively protects the most important components.
Support for load handling
The Unitree A2 Pro serves as a mobile transport platform that is suitable for demanding industrial tasks. When moving, the robot can carry loads of approximately 25 kg, while in stationary mode, its structure can withstand loads of up to 100 kg. These capabilities enable the safe delivery of tools, measuring equipment, and rescue equipment even to hard-to-reach places.
More accurate spatial orientation
The A2 Pro model is equipped with an enhanced navigation system designed to work in complex and changing environments. In addition to an HD camera, the robot uses two LiDAR sensors, which broaden its field of vision and reduce blind spots. This combination of sensors translates into more precise spatial recognition and greater safety when moving in a dynamic working environment. The whole system is complemented by integrated front lighting, which supports operations in low visibility conditions, such as during night inspections or work inside industrial facilities.
Stable power supply for long hours
The Unitree A2 Pro uses a system of two batteries with a capacity of 9000 mAh each. What does this mean in practice? Without a load, the robot can operate for up to approximately 5 hours, covering a distance of 20 km. When transporting a load weighing 25 kg, the operating time is approximately 3 hours, which corresponds to a distance of up to 12.5 km. The hot-swap design allows the batteries to be replaced without interrupting the operation of the device, which is important for tasks requiring operational continuity. In addition, the power system remains efficient at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C, allowing the robot to operate in demanding environmental conditions.
Computing power tailored to applications
The standard configuration includes an 8-core processor responsible for system functions and an Intel Core i7 unit designed for user applications. For more demanding projects, an optional computing module with increased performance can be used. The robot also offers a wide range of communication interfaces, such as RS485, CAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB-C, and support for OTA updates enables continuous software development. The Pro version also supports GPS/4G systems and wireless motion tracking modules.
Voice communication in the field
The Unitree A2 Pro robot is equipped with a microphone and speaker that enable two-way voice communication. This feature allows for real-time warning and information messages, which increases safety in industrial environments and facilitates coordination of activities.
A platform for professional tasks
Thanks to its wide range of capabilities and performance, the A2 Pro robot is ideal for demanding tasks. It can be used in infrastructure inspections, field logistics, industrial patrols, research, R&D projects, and rescue operations, among other things. Its extensive perception, high computing power, and open architecture make it a solid base for creating specialized and scalable solutions.
