Keep the water in your aquarium clean and clear with the SunSun HW-702A external filter. With a flow rate of up to 1000 l/h, this model is designed for aquariums with a capacity of up to 200 liters and works well in both freshwater and saltwater tanks. The compact design, measuring 232 × 232 × 395 mm, allows you to conveniently place the filter under or next to the aquarium, and the 360° rotatable hose connections make installation easy in almost any configuration. Additionally, the unit operates quietly, and the rubber feet on the bottom effectively dampen vibrations.

Three-stage filtration for a healthy aquatic environment

The filter is equipped with three filtration stages that help maintain high water quality. Mechanical filtration traps debris and suspended particles while creating suitable conditions for the growth of beneficial bacteria. Biological filtration utilizes bio-balls and ceramic rings, providing a large surface area for the colonization of bacteria responsible for natural biological balance. The optional chemical filtration stage allows for the use of materials such as activated carbon, which aid in removing specific substances from the water.

Convenient operation and easy maintenance

The large tank holds several filter baskets with practical handles, which can be individually filled with selected filter media. The pre-filter effectively traps larger contaminants, protecting subsequent filtration layers and extending their service life. Cleaning it is quick and convenient, which facilitates regular maintenance of the entire system.

Well-thought-out design for increased safety

The SunSun HW-702A is equipped with a multifunctional valve with a quick-connect fitting, which allows you to disconnect the hoses without draining them. This solution simplifies operation and reduces the risk of water leakage during maintenance. The valve also allows you to regulate water flow, so the filter’s performance can be adjusted to the needs of a specific aquarium.

Reliable operation every day

The unit uses a 24 W pump with a ceramic shaft, which ensures stable operation and efficient water circulation. The maximum lift height is 1.4 m, and the included 1.8 m hoses facilitate installation. The filter has an IPX4 rating and is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from 4°C to 35°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of aquarium setups.
