The SONOFF S61STPF-PM-O Matter EU Outdoor Smart Plug is a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi smart plug designed for outdoor use that supports the Matter standard and works with eWeLink, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home, Home Assistant, and SmartThings. The model offers remote control, schedules, smart scenes, and voice control, as well as energy consumption monitoring in select ecosystems. The maximum load is 3,840 W (16 A), and its IP44 rating makes the device ideal for controlling garden lighting, pumps, decorations, and other outdoor devices.
App Control and Matter Integration
2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to manage power from anywhere using your smartphone. Thanks to Matter support, the outlet can be integrated with the most popular smart home systems, making it easy to control multiple devices from a single app. Voice control, as well as the creation of automations and smart scenes, is also supported. A compatible hub is required to use the Matter ecosystem.
Energy Monitoring and Smart Schedules
The device allows you to create schedules for automatically turning the power on and off, as well as set up scenes that work with other smart home devices. The outlet also supports energy usage monitoring and electricity cost tracking, though this feature is available in the eWeLink app. In Home Assistant and SmartThings systems, you must first update the software to version V1.0.6 or later using the eWeLink app. The energy monitoring feature is not available on Apple Home, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa.
Weather-Resistant
The housing, made of UV-resistant polycarbonate, is designed for year-round outdoor use. An IP44 rating, a splash-proof cover, and a protected button help shield the device from splashes and everyday weather conditions. The outlet can operate at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C, making it suitable for both winter and summer use.
Safety and Operation
The SONOFF S61STPF-PM-O supports voltages from 100 to 240 V and devices with a maximum load of 16 A (3,840 W). Built-in overload protection and current-carrying path shielding enhance safety during everyday use. Power consumption in standby mode is less than 1 W, so the outlet itself uses very little energy when on standby. The compact design, measuring 58 × 58 × 100 mm and weighing 110 g, is CE and RoHS certified.
