Description
SMALLRIG RA-S280 280 cm Shock-Absorbing Lighting Tripod
The SMALLRIG RA-S280 is a lighting tripod with a height range of 94 to 280 cm, a load capacity of up to 5 kg, and air suspension that slows the accidental lowering of the structure. This feature helps protect mounted lighting equipment while reducing the risk of pinching your fingers when adjusting the height. The design features an aluminum base and sturdy steel components, making the tripod ideal for portrait and product photography, recording interviews, live broadcasts, and creating content for e-commerce.
Height adjustment from 94 to 280 cm
The wide adjustment range allows you to adapt the lamp’s position to various shots, lighting types, and on-set conditions. When folded, the tripod is 94 cm long, making it easy to transport and store between shoots. Flip-lock clamps—convenient lever-style locks—allow you to quickly set the desired height and efficiently adjust the setup during a session.
Stable and Durable Construction
The iron support legs are 2.66 mm thick and 15 mm wide, ensuring adequate structural rigidity during use. When fully extended, the distance between the legs is up to 1.2 m, giving the tripod a stable base, while the non-slip, wear-resistant nylon feet improve its grip on the ground. Weighing just 2.1 kg, the tripod strikes a balance between stability and portability.
Universal 1/4"-20 Mount
The SMALLRIG RA-S280 is equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded adapter, which enhances compatibility with various lighting and photography and film accessories. The adapter is made of stainless steel, making it resistant to wear and corrosion, and its flattened design helps ensure a more secure connection with the mounted equipment.
