Working with electronic components requires a tool that combines accuracy, speed, and ease of use. The FNIRSI LCR-ST2 offers a wide range of measurement capabilities, support for multiple frequencies and test voltage levels, intelligent analysis functions, and two methods for connecting the components under test. A clear color display with automatic image rotation, a compact tweezers-like design, and a rechargeable battery providing up to approximately 3 hours of operation make this device ideal for both service stations and field work. This versatile tester facilitates the diagnosis of individual components and the batch testing of electronic components.

Wide measurement range and comprehensive parameter analysis

The tester enables precise measurements of resistance in the range from 10 mΩ to 10 MΩ, capacitance from 1 pF to 22 mF, inductance from 1 μH to 10 H, voltage up to ±30 V, and diodes with a forward voltage up to 0.7 V. In addition to basic values, the device also displays key electrical parameters such as D, Q, Z, X, θ, and ESR, enabling a comprehensive analysis of the tested component’s properties. Automatic recognition of resistors, capacitors, and inductors further speeds up the process by eliminating the need to manually select the measurement type.

Flexible settings for various applications

The FNIRSI LCR-ST2 allows you to adjust the measurement conditions to the type of component being tested. Five test frequencies (100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, and 100 kHz) are available, enabling professional analysis of many types of electronic components. Additionally, you can select one of four RMS test voltage levels (0.1 V, 0.3 V, 0.6 V, or 1.0 V) to increase measurement stability and accuracy depending on the characteristics of the component under test.

Intelligent Features to Speed Up Diagnostics

The device is equipped with a full-band scanning mode ranging from 100 Hz to 100 kHz, which enables rapid analysis of a component’s frequency response with a single measurement. The tester also offers an intelligent function for sorting components according to specified nominal values and tolerances, automatically classifying them as compliant or non-compliant with requirements during mass production testing. An additional advantage is the simultaneous display of equivalent values in series and parallel configurations, which helps minimize the impact of parasitic parameters and increases the accuracy of the results. The practical HOLD, Max, and Min functions allow you to conveniently record and analyze measurement results. The device also enables the simultaneous display of two measurement parameters, which facilitates the analysis of results.

Two Measurement Methods and Ease of Use

The LCR-ST2 model combines a tweezers design with the option to use a Kelvin probe. Straight and curved probe tips make it easy to grip small surface-mounted components, while the Kelvin clamp enables precise four-wire measurements of larger components and through-hole components. User comfort is enhanced by a 1.47-inch HD color display with an auto-rotate feature that adjusts the orientation to match how the device is held, ensuring comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users. The magnetic mount makes it easy to store the tester and keeps it within easy reach at all times.

Mobile, ready-to-use design

The lightweight, tweezers-style housing makes the tester ideal for use in the lab, in service, and in the field. The built-in 300 mAh lithium battery provides up to approximately 3 hours of continuous operation, and the modern USB-C port allows for convenient charging of the device. Additionally, the tester supports voltage measurements up to ±30 V, making it suitable for both everyday diagnostics and more advanced electronic applications.
