The SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro is an advanced keypad for SwitchBot smart locks that combines multiple unlocking methods with a high level of security. The device allows you to open the door instantly—in just 0.3 seconds—using 3D facial recognition, palm vein scanning, a passcode, an NFC card, a mobile app, or—when paired with a compatible lock —a fingerprint. All biometric data is stored locally on the device, and advanced Smart Anti-Spoofing algorithms effectively protect against spoofing attempts using photos, videos, and 2D images. With an IP65 rating, operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 45°C, and a battery that lasts up to 12 months, the device is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.

Next-Generation Biometric Authentication

The keypad utilizes 3D facial recognition and palm vein scanning technology, offering an exceptionally high level of accuracy. In both cases, the false acceptance rate is less than 0.0001%, ensuring reliable user identification. Facial recognition uses 940 nm infrared light, allowing it to work even in complete darkness. This is a convenient solution when your hands are full, you’re wearing a mask, your fingers are wet, or your fingerprints are difficult to read.

Multiple Access Methods for Household Members and Guests

The SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro allows you to flexibly manage access to your home. The system supports up to 100 users using facial recognition and up to 100 users using palm vein scanning. You can also save up to 100 NFC cards, create access codes ranging from 6 to 12 digits, and grant access via the SwitchBot app. Various types of codes are available, including permanent, temporary, one-time, and emergency codes, making it easy to grant access to family members, guests, or employees.

Integration with the SwitchBot Ecosystem

The device works with the entire SwitchBot Lock series, including the Lock Pro and Lock Ultra models. Once paired with a compatible lock, you can also use fingerprint unlocking for up to 90 users. The keypad also functions as a doorbell—pressing a button activates an audible signal on the Lock Ultra, and when connected to the Hub 3, the user receives immediate notifications about people at the entrance. The Hub 3 also provides remote control, integration with Alexa, Google Home, and Siri, and support for the Matter standard.

Long Battery Life and Convenient Charging

The built-in lithium battery provides up to one year of operation on a single charge, assuming 10 unlocking operations per day. The keypad can be charged using a USB-C cable or a power bank, which enhances user convenience. For those seeking maximum independence, there’s also the option to power the device using a compatible solar panel, which, under the right lighting conditions, can provide the energy needed for the device’s daily operation.

Durable Design for Everyday Use

The housing, made of PC materials and featuring an anti-UV coating and a durable PVC film, is designed to withstand demanding conditions. The IP65 rating protects the device from dust and water, and installation can be done using 3M tape or screws. Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity ensures a stable connection within a range of up to 5 meters, and the compact dimensions of 131 × 65 × 30 mm and a weight of 205 g allow for an aesthetically pleasing installation near the front door.
