The GL.iNet Puli AX (GL-XE3000) is an advanced 5G NR mobile router with Wi-Fi 6, designed for users who expect fast and reliable Internet access while on the go and for professional applications. It offers a total Wi-Fi throughput of up to 2,976 Mb/s, including up to 574 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 2,402 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. It is equipped with a 5G NR modem, two Nano SIM slots, a 6,400 mAh (47.4 Wh) battery, and Multi-WAN, Load Balancing, and Failover features that help maintain a stable connection even if the primary Internet source fails.

5G NR and Dual-SIM Connectivity

The router uses a 5G NR modem that supports a wide range of 5G and LTE bands, ensuring fast Internet access in various regions around the world. The Dual-SIM design allows for the use of two Nano SIM cards and automatically selects the carrier offering the best connection quality. This makes the device ideal for travel, field work, and anywhere where reliable data transmission is critical.

High-Performance Wi-Fi 6 and a Powerful Hardware Platform

The use of the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard guarantees high performance even when multiple devices are connected simultaneously. The router enables smooth streaming of 4K and 8K content, fast file downloads, comfortable remote work, and uninterrupted video conferencing. A dual-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor, supported by 512 MB of DDR4 memory and 8 GB of eMMC storage, ensures smooth operation.

Multi-WAN, Load Balancing, and Failover

The Puli AX supports multiple methods of connecting to the Internet, including 5G, Ethernet, Wi-Fi repeater, and tethering. Multi-WAN technology allows you to use multiple Internet sources simultaneously, increasing network bandwidth and stability, while Load Balancing intelligently distributes traffic across available connections. The Failover feature automatically switches the router to a backup Internet source in the event of a failure in the primary connection, minimizing the risk of network outages.

Battery, Security, and Advanced Networking Features

The 6400 mAh battery with a capacity of 47.4 Wh provides up to 8 hours of operation without access to mains power. The battery protection system automatically pauses charging at temperatures below 0°C or above 50°C, and stops the charging process once the battery is fully charged, helping to extend the life of the battery cells. The router supports OpenVPN and WireGuard®, works with over 30 VPN providers, and offers speeds of up to 150 Mb/s for OpenVPN and up to 300 Mb/s for WireGuard®. It can function as a VPN client or server, automatically encrypting traffic from all connected devices, and additionally supports WPA3, IPv6, and VPN Cascading.

OpenWrt, GoodCloud, eSIM, and a Rich Feature Set

The device runs on GL.iNet SDK 4.0+ based on OpenWrt 21.02 (Linux Kernel 5.4), providing access to over 5,000 add-ons and extensions. Integration with the GoodCloud platform enables remote router management, data usage monitoring, software updates, and diagnostics, while compatibility with GL.iNet eSIM covers both physical eSIM cards and integrated eSIM chips. The router is also equipped with four external SMA cellular antennas, two RP-SMA Wi-Fi antennas, a 2.5G WAN port, a Gigabit LAN port, a USB 2.0 port, and a MicroSD card reader supporting cards up to 1 TB. Additionally, DFS certification allows for the use of additional channels in the 5 GHz band, helping to reduce interference in crowded network environments.
