Description

Creality Falcon T1 UV 5W Laser Engraver

The Creality Falcon T1 opens up far more possibilities for creators than a traditional engraver that uses a single type of laser. Its 5-in-1 modular design allows you to use five specialized modules, so a single workstation can be used for cutting, marking, surface and internal engraving, and creating colorful patterns on metal. Wood, leather, acrylic, glass, ceramics, or metals—simply select the appropriate laser source for the material and the desired effect. Quick module replacement, automatic focusing, an HD camera, and comprehensive safety features streamline daily operations, while the Falcon Design Space software offers tools to help you take your idea from concept to finished project. The package includes a 5W UV module.

Five lasers, one workstation

The Falcon T1 was designed as the world’s first 5-in-1 laser workstation, allowing you to use five modules without taking up space with several separate devices. You have access to 20 W and 40 W diode lasers, a 20 W fiber laser, a 5 W UV laser, and a 60 W MOPA laser (sold separately; only the 5 W UV module is included in the kit). Each is suited for different materials and tasks, so you can process flat, curved, soft, and hard surfaces, as well as engrave inside the appropriate materials. Swapping out a module takes about 15 seconds and requires no tools, so switching from cutting wood to marking metal or glass doesn’t require a lengthy setup change.

UV and MOPA for Special Tasks

Delicate surfaces require a more precise approach, which is why the Falcon T1 can also be used with a 5 W UV laser (included in the kit) that employs cold processing. This module is suitable for marking crystal, glass, and plastics, leaving smooth, high-contrast marks without burning or cracking the material. Its accuracy reaches 0.001 mm, which means nearly 50 times higher resolution than standard LED systems and enables the reproduction of very fine textures as well as engravings inside the crystal. In turn, the 60 W MOPA (not included) offers pulse width modulation, which provides great flexibility in shaping color and brightness when creating multicolor engravings on stainless steel and titanium.

Cutting Various Materials

The five modules also provide a wide range of supported material thicknesses. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the 20 W diode laser can cut linden wood up to 8 mm thick and opaque acrylic up to 6 mm thick, while the 40 W diode variant can handle materials up to 12 mm and 10 mm thick, respectively. The 20 W fiber-optic module allows for cutting anodized aluminum up to 0.2 mm thick. For the 5 W UV laser and the 60 W MOPA laser, the declared maximum thickness of anodized aluminum is 0.5 mm. This allows a single machine to handle projects ranging from detailed marking to the processing of thicker components.

Impressive Processing Speed

The Falcon T1 uses a high-speed galvanometer that directs the beam using rapidly moving mirrors instead of a traditional mechanism that moves the head along the XYZ axes. As a result, the linear engraving speed can reach 10,000 mm/s without sacrificing design accuracy. The technology used in the T1 delivers speeds up to 8 times faster than competing galvanometer engravers. This solution works particularly well for creating multiple markings on a flat surface, which is why it can streamline the production of short product runs, personalized orders, and repeatable designs.

Design alignment without guesswork

The built-in HD camera works with a quick-calibration algorithm to make it easy to precisely align the graphic with the workpiece. When you change the module, the system automatically recalibrates, so you don’t have to perform a complicated manual setup every time. The camera preview makes it easy to precisely position the graphic on the material, allowing you to check where the engraving will be made before you even start working. What’s more, the Falcon T1 automatically adjusts the laser focus to match the workpiece without requiring manual focus adjustment. An advanced cooling and power control system also ensures stable parameters, maintaining consistent laser operation even at an ambient temperature of 40°C.

Safety Under Constant Monitoring

The Falcon T1’s fully enclosed design meets Class 1 safety requirements and blocks harmful radiation from 1064 nm fiber lasers, 455 nm diode lasers, and 355 nm UV lasers. The system monitors temperature to protect components from overheating, and smoke detection helps respond early to the risk of burning. The material monitoring feature, meanwhile, reduces the risk of using the wrong material and wasting it. The dual dynamic flame detection system combines images from a wide-angle HD camera positioned above the work area with a precise infrared sensor. The combination of AI image analysis and the IR sensor helps ensure that even areas that might otherwise be out of reach of a single sensor are monitored.

From Concept to Finished Design

Falcon Design Space expands the device’s capabilities with tools that streamline project preparation. Among other features, the software offers image generation for 3D reliefs, AI-powered smart filling and element placement, AI-assisted color metal engraving, background removal and contour extraction, as well as features designed for internal engraving. You can also track your progress in real time via the app, without having to stay right next to the device at all times. With such a comprehensive set of capabilities, the Falcon T1 can be used to create personalized gifts, company logos, interior decorations, jewelry, signs, glass and metal works, industrial prototypes, or small product runs—from a single idea to regular work in a workshop or small business.
