| Description | The BACscan A8 is a mouthpiece-less breath alcohol analyzer that uses electrochemical technology based on a sensor from a renowned British manufacturer. The device allows you to quickly and easily (with a single button) determine the sobriety of the test subject by performing the test in active or passive mode. Active mode is used when the test subject injects the appropriate amount of air, triggering the sample collection system, which is then analyzed by the sensor for alcohol. Passive measurement, on the other hand, is a good solution when the test subject is unable to exhale the required amount of air or is unconscious. It can also be used to check for alcohol in the fluids being carried. The BACscan A8 also has a built-in top and bottom flashlight, as well as a red warning light, which can be used as a signal at the scene of accidents, roadworks, or for traffic control. Its use is also hassle-free thanks to the built-in battery, which allows for approximately 6 hours of uninterrupted testing.
