UNITREE H2 Edu humanoid robot
Unitree H2 Edu is a full-size humanoid robot that, thanks to its height of approximately 182 cm, easily fits into spaces designed for humans. Its proportions, bionic face, and smooth movements make it look and behave in a manner similar to a human. As many as 31 degrees of freedom enable precise and flexible movement, and a binocular camera located in place of the eyes allows it to react to its surroundings and collect data from a perspective similar to that of a human. It is an advanced platform that is ideal for research, education, demonstrations, and more.
Natural whole-body movement
The design of Unitree H2 Edu allows for precise control of the entire body. Each leg of the robot has 6 degrees of freedom, each arm has 7, the torso has 3, and the head has 2. As a result, the device moves smoothly, maintains balance, and can perform complex movements in a natural way. The high torque of the leg joints, which reaches up to 360 N·m, ensures stability and dynamics – even during more demanding maneuvers. Thanks to this, H2 Edu can easily jump, walk, run, and even perform sequences inspired by martial arts or dance.
Arms and hands for precise work
Industrial cross bearings, which combine high precision with high durability, are responsible for the movement of the robot's arms. What's more, the H2 Edu model can be additionally equipped with gripping hands available in various variants, allowing it to work with objects and perform tasks requiring precise motion control. This solution works well for learning manipulation, research on gripping, and projects where the device must physically interact with its environment.
Human-like vision and communication
UNITREE H2 Edu uses a binocular camera located in place of the eyes, which provides a wide field of view and a natural perspective for observing the environment. This allows the robot to "see" the world in a manner similar to humans. This is complemented by a voice interaction system based on a microphone array and a high-power speaker, which enables simple and intuitive communication with the user.
High computing power and extensive development possibilities
The H2 Edu model can even use computing modules such as Jetson AGX Thor with a performance of 2070 TOPS. This allows it to easily handle advanced control and data processing algorithms. What's more, the motion control system is constantly being developed by the manufacturer and supported by OTA updates, allowing the robot's capabilities to be gradually expanded without interfering with its design. As a result, Unitree H2 Edu remains up-to-date and ready for the next stages of software development.
For learning, research, and practical demonstrations
Unitree H2 Edu was created for education, research, and presentation of modern robotics in various environments. Its full-size, humanoid form makes it ideal for technology shows, teaching activities, and demonstration projects. At the same time, it is a tool for research on whole-body movement, control, perception, and human-robot interaction. In academic and research environments, it allows algorithms and new concepts to be tested on a ready-made, advanced platform without the need to design it from scratch.
