Manage the temperature in your home more conveniently with the SONOFF TRV Gen2 Zigbee smart thermostatic head. The device allows for precise heating control, the creation of custom schedules, and integration with a smart home system via Zigbee 3.0. Its compact design, quiet operation, and automation features allow you to tailor your radiators’ operation to your daily needs.
Compact design and user-friendly operation
The SONOFF TRV Gen2 is 38% smaller than the previous generation, making it easier to install in tight spaces or where the piping layout is more complex. The valve’s smooth adjustment mechanism operates quietly, ensuring comfort even at night. The device features a color IPS screen that displays the current temperature, settings, and operating status, and the ability to rotate the display in four directions allows you to adjust its position to suit the installation method.
Smart heating schedules
The thermostat allows you to save up to three independent temperature schedules, enabling you to set different configurations for weekdays, weekends, or times when you’re away. Each schedule supports a weekly cycle of 7 days and up to 12 time slots per day. This solution allows you to precisely adjust the temperature to your daily routine and conveniently manage your heating without frequent manual adjustments.
Automatic temperature control and more energy-efficient heating
The SONOFF TRV Gen2 can work with a remote temperature sensor to more accurately monitor indoor conditions. When paired with door and window sensors, you can create automations that will reduce or turn off the heating when an open window is detected. Zigbee integration also allows you to connect the thermostat to other smart home devices and create scenarios tailored to current conditions.
Safe operation and easy installation
The device offers protective features such as automatic valve maintenance to prevent limescale buildup, freeze protection, low-battery notifications, and parental controls. The thermostatic head uses a standard M30 × 1.5 mm connection, and the included CAL, RAVL, RAV, M28, GIA, and RA adapters allow it to be adapted to various valve types. Powered by two 1.5 V AA LR6 batteries, it allows for wireless installation and convenient use.

The head is made of durable PC plastic, and its compact dimensions of 50 × 50 × 82.9 mm help maintain the aesthetic appearance of the radiator system. The device weighs 169 g with batteries, making it lightweight and easy to install. The SONOFF TRV Gen2 is designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C and at humidity levels of 5–95% RH without condensation. The valve control mechanism offers a lifespan of 10,000 operating cycles, ensuring reliable performance during everyday use.
