SUNSUN HW404B 9W/UV External Filter
The SUNSUN HW404B is a high-performance external filter designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums with a capacity of up to 600 liters. The unit offers a water flow rate of 2000 l/h and a spacious 19-liter housing with a 4-stage filtration system that effectively removes contaminants and helps maintain stable conditions in the tank. An additional advantage is the integrated 9 W UV-C lamp, which helps eliminate algae, bacteria, and microorganisms responsible for deteriorating water quality.
Four-stage filtration for clean and healthy water
The filter is equipped with four filter baskets with included filter media. The system utilizes mechanical and biological filtration, as well as the option for chemical filtration. The set includes a filter sponge, bio-block, filter wool, and ceramic rings, which provide a large surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria. The pre-filter effectively traps larger contaminants, extending the lifespan of the remaining cartridges and simplifying maintenance.
Built-in UV-C lamp and user-friendly operation
The integrated UV-C sterilizer irradiates the flowing water, limiting the growth of algae and harmful microorganisms. The filter is also equipped with a manual pump to facilitate initial startup and a multifunctional valve with a quick-connect fitting, which allows you to disconnect the hoses without having to drain the system. The 360° rotatable hose connections make it easy to install the filter under or next to the aquarium, and the rubber feet effectively dampen vibrations during operation.
High performance and robust construction
The body, made of durable ABS and PVC, ensures high resistance to daily use. The filter uses a ceramic impeller shaft, which ensures stable operation of the unit. The maximum water lift is 2.5 m, and the included 1.8 m hoses with a diameter of 20/25 mm facilitate installation even with larger tanks. The design meets the IPX4 waterproof standard and can operate at temperatures ranging from 4°C to 35°C.
