The Shelly Duo Bulb Gen3 E27 is a smart LED bulb that lets you adjust the lighting to the time of day and your activities. It offers smooth adjustment of the color temperature of white light in the range from 2700 K to 6500 K, providing a brightness of up to 800 lm while consuming just 8.5 W of power. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity allow you to control it from anywhere using the Shelly Smart Control app or popular smart home platforms—without the need for an additional hub. The bulb has a standard A60 shape measuring 60 × 110 mm and an E27 base, allowing it to easily replace traditional light sources and fit into most light fixtures.

Light tailored to the time of day

The Shelly Duo Bulb Gen3 allows you to smoothly adjust the color temperature of the light from a warm 2700 K—ideal for relaxation and rest—to a cool 6500 K, which helps you concentrate while working, studying, or reading. As a result, a single light source works well in the morning, during the day, and in the evening. The 200° beam angle ensures wide light dispersion, allowing the bulb to serve as the main light source and evenly illuminate a large portion of the room.

Smart Schedules and Automation

The Duo Bulb Gen3 allows you to create both simple weekly schedules and advanced scenarios covering specific days, months, or seasons. You can automatically adjust brightness, color temperature, and the transition time between settings, so the lighting adapts to the rhythm of the day without requiring manual intervention. The bulb also supports scripts, webhooks, local actions, and dynamic components, making it easy to integrate into complex home automation systems. Advanced users can also take advantage of MQTT support to integrate with local automation systems and create their own scenarios without needing to use cloud services.

Comfort Both Day and Night

Night Mode automatically turns on the light at a predefined brightness and color temperature during nighttime hours. This ensures the lighting isn’t glaring after dark and provides greater comfort during nighttime visits to the kitchen, bathroom, or child’s room. You can also set the bulb to use the most recently used color temperature at a reduced brightness level, specify the minimum brightness level when the bulb is turned on, and configure automatic timers.

Remote Control Without an Additional Gateway

The bulb can operate independently on a Wi-Fi network or be controlled via Bluetooth using Shelly BLU devices, such as remote controls and buttons. It also works with Shelly BLU sensors, allowing the light to turn on automatically when motion is detected or to respond to other events in the automation system. It does not require a control panel, so installation is as simple as replacing a traditional light bulb. The bulb can be controlled both via a standard wall switch and remotely through the app or compatible Shelly BLU devices. The device can be managed via the Shelly Smart Control app, the built-in web interface accessible through a web browser (without the need to install additional software), or integrated with Home Assistant, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings.

More Than Just Smart Lighting

The Shelly Duo Bulb Gen3 also functions as a Wi-Fi range extender and a BLE gateway. This allows it to extend the wireless range for other Shelly devices and facilitate communication between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices. This is a practical solution when expanding a Smart Home system, as it enhances the capabilities of the entire setup without requiring additional devices. The bulb can perform local automations, allowing many functions to work within the local network as well. The built-in power measurement feature allows you to monitor energy consumption in watts in real time. The bulb also records an event history, making it easy to check its operation and verify the functioning of automations. This allows for better control of energy consumption and optimization of lighting operation. The IP20-rated housing is designed for use in dry indoor environments.
