It supports measurements from 0 to 30 V DC, making it ideal for monitoring 4.2 V, 12 V, and 24 V batteries, power supplies, and popular 0–5 V analog sensors. It’s a practical expansion for those building automation, monitoring, and measurement systems based on Shelly The Pill.

A Wider Measurement Range for New Applications

The standard measurement range of Shelly The Pill can be expanded using this module, opening the door to compatibility with many low-voltage devices and systems. The accessory enables accurate voltage readings from batteries, power supplies, and analog sensor signals, making it easier to monitor the status of your system and respond more quickly to changes in parameters.

Ideal for analog sensors and battery systems

This accessory works well in both simple DIY projects and more demanding technical installations. It allows you to connect popular 0–5 V analog sensors, such as soil moisture sensors, light sensors, or other sensors that generate a voltage signal. It is equally well-suited for monitoring the voltage of batteries and power supply systems operating at 3.7 V, 4.2 V, 12 V, or 24 V, enabling real-time monitoring of their operation and a quick response to voltage drops.

Additional Inputs and Outputs for Greater Flexibility

In addition to the analog input, the module is equipped with two configurable pins, IO2 and IO3, operating at 3.3 V logic. They can function as digital inputs or outputs, which expands the project’s capabilities by allowing for additional control elements or digital signals. There are also 5 V and GND terminals available, which can be used to power a connected sensor or the Shelly The Pill device.

Easy Integration with Shelly The Pill

The module was designed as a dedicated expansion for Shelly The Pill. It connects to the device via the 5-Terminal Add-on, which is required for its installation. With this expansion, The Pill can collect data from connected analog sensors and voltage sources, enabling their use in automation, monitoring, and your own projects based on the Shelly platform.

Compact design for low-voltage installations

Its small dimensions (36.5 × 26.5 × 11.5 mm) and weight of just 8 g make installation easy even where space is limited. The module operates at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C with a humidity of 30–70% RH and can be used at altitudes up to 2,000 m above sea level, making it suitable for many indoor applications.
