The GARRETT Pro-Pointer AT Blackline is a handheld detector designed for the precise location of objects made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It offers a 360° detection area and a probe for precise targeting, while 3 sensitivity levels make it easier to detect small objects, such as gold nuggets. The design meets IP68 standards and can be submerged to a depth of 6 m, making the device suitable for use in water. An integrated LED flashlight, audible and vibration alerts, the Fast Retune feature, and simple one-button operation streamline searches in a variety of conditions.

Precise 360° Detection

The 360° detection area allows you to detect metal not only directly in front of the probe tip but also along the sides of the device. In turn, the pinpointing probe helps precisely determine the location of the find. Proportional audio and vibration alerts increase in intensity as you approach the target, providing the user with clear information about its location. There are also 3 sensitivity levels available, which allow you to adjust the pinpointer’s performance and improve the detection of small objects, including gold nuggets. Additionally, a Stealth mode is available, in which a detection is signaled exclusively by vibration.

Fast Retune – Quick Adjustment to Conditions

The Fast Retune feature is activated with a quick press of a button and allows you to instantly adjust the device to its surroundings or narrow the detection field. This enables you to pinpoint large targets more accurately, determine their size and distance, as well as identify their edges. It also helps reduce interference caused by mineralized soil or wet sand on the beach, and makes it easier to distinguish between several separate targets and a single large object.

Waterproof up to 6 meters

The GARRETT Pro-Pointer AT Blackline can be submerged to a depth of approximately 6 m, and its design meets IP68 standards. The waterproof speaker allows you to use audio features even in challenging conditions, and the operating temperature range of -10°C to 40°C further expands the pinpointer’s field capabilities.

LED flashlight – easier work in low light

The integrated LED flashlight illuminates the search area, making it easier to locate a target in low-visibility conditions. It is useful when working in dimly lit areas and allows for better observation of the search area without the need for a separate light source.

Additional Features, Convenient Operation

A scale marked in inches and centimeters is located on the side of the pinpointer, helping you estimate the depth of the detected object. The integrated scraping blade makes it easier to search through soil and other materials, and a special hole allows you to attach a lanyard. All basic functions are controlled with a single button—it is used to turn the device on and off, retune it, adjust sensitivity, and select Stealth mode.

Alarm Function and Automatic Shut-Off

If no button is pressed for 5 minutes, the Pro-Pointer will begin to emit periodic warning signals, making it easier to locate the device if left behind. After 60 minutes of warning signals, the pinpointer will automatically turn off, which helps reduce unnecessary power consumption. This is a practical safety feature when working in the field.

9 V Rechargeable Battery with USB-C Charging

The Pro-Pointer AT Blackline is powered by a single 9 V lithium-ion battery with a rated capacity of 455 mAh. It provides up to approximately 30 hours of operation and can be charged via USB-C. The indicator lights up red during charging, while green indicates that charging is complete. The battery compartment cover is located at the end of the housing—simply unscrew it to replace the battery.

Compact Design for Field Use

The device is 22.9 cm long and weighs 0.2 kg with the battery installed—so you can comfortably operate it with one hand. The housing is 3.8 cm at its thickest point and tapers to 2.2 cm. Additionally, the included woven belt holster makes it easy to carry the pinpointer and keeps it within reach during your searches.
