The SMALLRIG 5123 is a compact, shock-absorbing mount designed for recording footage from a vehicle using the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 / Pocket 3, GoPro HERO13 Black, and Insta360 X5 / X4 cameras. The design utilizes a dual vibration reduction system that combines a high-rebound spring with hydraulic damping, thereby reducing vertical vibrations caused by driving and helping to produce steadier footage. The set also includes a 4-inch vacuum suction cup designed for secure mounting on smooth surfaces, as well as a dedicated case for easy storage and transport of the entire set.

Dual Damping System

The combination of a spring and a hydraulic damping system helps reduce the transfer of vibrations and road irregularities to the mounted camera. The damping level can be adjusted using a special knob, allowing you to better tailor the arm’s performance to driving conditions. This solution is particularly effective when recording dynamic drives, where the road surface causes frequent vertical jolts.

Vacuum Suction Cup Mount

The SMALLRIG 5123 is equipped with a 4-inch manual vacuum suction cup that can support equipment weighing up to 600 g. The suction cup is designed for mounting on smooth, dry, clean, and flat surfaces, ensuring a stable camera mount during recording. The included dust cover protects the suction cup’s surface from dirt and scratches during storage, helping to preserve its performance for longer.

Wide camera compatibility

The SMALLRIG 5123 mount is compatible with cameras featuring a 1/4"-20 bottom thread, including the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 / Pocket 3, GoPro HERO13 Black, and Insta360 X5 / X4. It can also be used with cameras mounted in cages featuring a 1/4"-20 thread, including the GoPro HERO12, HERO11, HERO10, and HERO9 Black, as well as the DJI Osmo Action 6, 5 Pro, 4, and 3. The included mounting components—such as an adapter, extension arm, mounting plate, and counterweight—make it easy to adapt the setup to various devices and filming styles.

Thoughtful Design and Safe Use

The mount is constructed from materials including aluminum alloy, stainless steel, rubber, reinforced polyamide, and ABS plastic, ensuring adequate rigidity of the load-bearing components and comfortable use. The SMALLRIG 5123 measures 101.5 × 159.4 × 214.5 mm and weighs approximately 720 g, and the included case allows for convenient storage of the mount along with its accessories.
