SMALLRIG 2905B Monitor Mount

The SMALLRIG 2905B is a compact mount designed for 5" and 7" monitors, as well as microphones, lights, and other accessories equipped with a 1/4"-20 thread. The design allows for 360° rotation and up to 180° tilt, so you can comfortably position the screen at the right angle while recording. The bottom cold shoe mount allows you to attach the mount to a camera, camera cage, or handle, while additional 1/4"-20 threaded holes in the base enable you to connect accessories such as a Magic Arm.

Stable Adjustment and Anti-Rotation Protection

The tilt axis resistance can be quickly adjusted using a knob, allowing you to adapt the mount to the weight of the attached equipment, while rotation is adjusted using an Allen wrench. The design has undergone a 10,000-cycle tilt test, after which the mechanism’s load capacity decreased by no more than 20%, confirming its durability under frequent use. Spring-loaded positioning pins and a silicone surface help prevent unwanted rotation of the monitor, and this feature is particularly useful when working with Ninja V and V+ monitors.

Lightweight and Durable Construction

The mount is made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, so despite its dimensions of 45 × 52.6 × 30 mm, it weighs only about 78 g. The maximum load capacity is less than 4.2 kg at a 90° angle, less than 2.5 kg at a 45° angle, and less than 2.3 kg at a 30° angle. The holes in the knurled screws allow you to use the included Allen wrench during installation and removal, making it easy to quickly set up the mount for use.
