The GameSir G7 Pro 8K Xiaohai Edition PC is a special edition controller created in collaboration with fighting game champion XiaoHai. The model stands out with its striking black-and-gold design, XiaoHai’s autograph on the right grip, a special EWC motif on the D-pad, and a docking station adorned with the EWC 2024 and 2025 trophy icons. The controller supports a wired USB-C connection and 2.4G wireless with a refresh rate of up to 8000 Hz, offering extremely fast response times and esports-grade precision. It also features GameSir Mag-Res™ TMR Sticks Gen-2, optical ABXY microswitches, two trigger modes, four programmable macro buttons, and a 6-axis gyroscope. The design supports 3.5 mm audio both wired and wireless, and the included charging dock and extensive customization options in the GameSir Connect app make this model a complete tool for demanding PC gamers.

The GameSir G7 Pro 8K Xiaohai Edition utilizes modern GameSir Mag-Res™ TMR Sticks Gen-2, which are based on magnetic technology that eliminates physical friction. This virtually eliminates stick drift, and the controller maintains high precision even after prolonged, intensive use. The sticks offer up to 4,096 levels of resolution, allowing for highly accurate micro-movements and precise aiming control. The manufacturer also claims a lifespan of up to 5 million cycles for the modules, highlighting the durability of the design. The mechanical D-pad with microswitches, meanwhile, provides a distinct click and high responsiveness when performing directional combinations.

Two trigger modes and macros

The controller allows you to instantly switch between Hall Effect triggers and clicky microswitches. Analog Hall Effect triggers offer smooth and linear performance, ideal for racing and simulators. Microswitches, on the other hand, provide instant activation and work great in dynamic shooters and competitive games. The model also features four programmable macro buttons—two on the back and two additional mini bumpers—supporting macros with up to 32 steps.
