PGYTECH Pocket Extension Adapter

The PGYTECH Pocket Extension Adapter allows you to use the OSMO Pocket 3/4 camera in a variety of configurations. The two-stage, foldable design offers up to 240° of rotation in the first segment and up to 270° in the second, allowing you to position the camera at various angles. When extended, the accessory doubles as a selfie stick and makes it easier to shoot from a low angle. It can also function as a stand, allowing you, among other things, to capture upward-facing shots, take macro photos from a low height, or stream live from an elevated perspective. The product weighs only 63 g, and when folded, it lies flat against the camera body, making it easy to carry.

Flexibility to set up in various locations

The two-stage design makes it easy to record without having to hold the camera in your hand. Six strong magnets allow the adapter to be securely attached to iron and steel surfaces, such as metal railings, vehicle bodies, or door frames. This allows you to quickly mount the camera in your chosen location, and the rotation range of up to 240° in the first segment and up to 270° in the second makes it easy to set the desired recording angle.

Connect Additional Accessories

The accessory features an Arca-type mount, two Action mounts—one on the front and one on the back—a 1/4"-20 threaded socket, a cold shoe, and a lanyard hole. This set of mounts and connectors allows you to use, among other things, microphones, lighting, tripods, extension poles, backpack clips, neck mounts, and gimbals. As a result, the adapter can serve as the foundation for various recording setups—from mounting a camera on a tripod to expanding the setup with additional lighting or a microphone.

Solutions that speed up preparation for recording

The Press-to-Release locking system requires no tools and allows you to quickly attach or detach the adapter, even with one hand. The thoughtful design helps prevent the camera from accidentally sliding out, and the built-in silicone elements protect its body from scratches. The adapter does not obstruct the screen or restrict its rotation. It also leaves the buttons and bottom ports accessible, and a U-shaped cutout on the side allows for convenient removal of the memory card without removing the accessory. The bottom section also remains accessible for attaching a battery mount or an accessory with a 1/4"-20 thread.

Convenience During Recording and Transport

The ergonomic shape of the grip helps reduce hand fatigue during extended recording sessions, and the aluminum construction enhances the accessory’s durability. With dimensions of 70 × 125 × 31 mm and a light weight of 63 g, the adapter does not add excessive bulk to the setup, especially when folded, as it lies flush against the camera body. You can leave it attached while using the original storage case, so you don’t have to remove the adapter every time before storing the OSMO Pocket.
