EcoFlow Stream Easy 1040 W Balcony Solar Kit

The EcoFlow Stream Easy 1040 W Balcony Solar Kit combines an EcoFlow Stream 800 W microinverter, two EcoFlow Trina Solar photovoltaic panels rated at 520 W each, PV and AC cables, and two 2-meter MC4 extension cables. The total power of the panels is 1040 W, and the microinverter uses two independent MPPT channels, each with an input power of up to 600 W, and offers up to 800 W of output power at a current of 3.48 A. The system operates in on-grid mode, so the generated energy is fed directly into the home’s electrical system, supporting current consumption or allowing surplus energy to be fed back into the grid. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity allow you to monitor and configure the microinverter’s operation via the EcoFlow app. The entire system is part of the EcoFlow STREAM Plug & Play Solar system, which combines simple installation with smart energy management and the ability to reduce electricity costs.

Better Adaptation to Operating Conditions

The EcoFlow Stream microinverter is equipped with two independent maximum power point tracking (MPPT) channels—each with an input power of up to 600 W. This allows the device to perform better in situations where the panels are angled differently or part of them is in the shade. The independent operation of each channel enables more efficient use of available sunlight and helps minimize energy losses caused by varying sunlight conditions. Furthermore, the inverter activates at an input power of just 3 W, allowing it to operate early in the morning and just before sunset.

High-efficiency EcoFlow Trina Solar 520 W panels

The microinverter’s input voltage range of 16 to 60 V DC allows it to work with a wide variety of PV panels —the device is compatible with 99% of the panels available on the market and maintains high efficiency even in low sunlight conditions. The kit includes two EcoFlow Trina Solar photovoltaic panels, each with a power rating of 520 W, equipped with 108 monocrystalline cells and utilizing ni-TOPCon technology. Their maximum efficiency reaches 22.9%, and a positive power tolerance of 0/+5 W means that each panel delivers the rated power or even slightly more. A low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C helps maintain performance at high temperatures, while the double-glass construction withstands snow loads of up to 5,400 Pa and wind loads of up to 2,400 Pa. Power degradation is a maximum of 1% in the first year and 0.4% annually in subsequent years, ensuring stable energy production over many seasons. Each panel measures 1,961 x 1,134 x 30 mm and weighs 23.5 kg.

Stable Grid Output

The EcoFlow Stream 800W operates in on-grid mode—energy is fed directly into the home’s electrical system, supporting current consumption or feeding surplus power back into the grid. The STREAM system can generate up to 858 kWh of energy annually, which—at the average European electricity price—can save you up to 137 euros. Additionally, the microinverter operates stably across a wide range of grid voltages—from 183 to 276 V—and frequencies of 45–65 Hz.

Intuitive App Control

Thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the microinverter can be monitored and configured remotely using the EcoFlow app. There you’ll find real-time data, consumption forecasts, and AI-powered features: AI-TOU (dynamic energy rates), AI Power Prediction, and Adaptive Energy Architect. The AI assistant works 24/7 to help optimize electricity consumption. The app also offers features such as the Savings Calendar and remote control of connected devices. Note that some of these options require an additional premium subscription.

Easy Installation – Plug & Play

Installation requires no specialized tools or the help of an electrician—the entire process takes about 30 minutes. Thanks to the Plug & Play solution, you can easily install the device yourself, even in rental apartments—without making any permanent changes to the building’s structure. The kit also includes two H1Z2Z2-K MC4 extension cables, each 2 m long, which facilitate connecting the installation components. The cables are made of multi-strand tinned copper and halogen-free cross-linked plastic, with a conductor cross-section of 6 mm². They are resistant to UV radiation, ozone, fire, and changing weather conditions, and can operate at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 90°C. This makes them suitable for indoor and outdoor use, as well as for direct burial.

Designed for Outdoor Use

The microinverter’s enclosure meets the IP67 standard, which means full protection against dust and resistance to water splashes. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 65°C—so the device operates reliably in both freezing and hot weather. You can easily install it outdoors.

Quiet operation and compact dimensions

With a noise level below 20 dB, the device is virtually inaudible. Thanks to its dimensions of 252 x 180 x 35 mm and weight of 3.2 kg, it’s easy to find a suitable mounting location—even where space is limited.
