The Cycplus BC2 Virtual Shifter for T2/T3 is a wireless Bluetooth 5.0 controller that allows you to conveniently shift virtual gears while training on Cycplus T2 and T3 bike trainers. Its compact design, measuring 26 × 38 × 11 mm and weighing just 7 g, does not affect riding comfort, and installation using the included silicone straps allows you to position the device in the most convenient spot on the handlebars. The built-in 90 mAh battery provides up to 350 hours of operation; charging is done via a USB-C port, and the IP65-rated housing protects the device from dust and splashes. The shifter works with the CYCPLUS app, allowing for precise resistance adjustment via virtual gear shifting and providing a more realistic feel during trainer workouts.

Virtual gear shifting for a more natural workout

The Cycplus BC2 lets you control the trainer’s resistance in a way that mimics shifting gears on a traditional bike. Simply press the “+” or “–” button to increase or decrease resistance without having to mechanically shift the drivetrain. This allows you to keep the chain on the large chainring and the middle sprocket of the cassette, which reduces drivetrain wear and ensures quieter and smoother operation during your workout.

Three virtual gear modes

The shifter lets you adjust the resistance curve to match your riding style. In the CYCPLUS app, you can choose from three operating modes: Low Gear—60 levels (5%), Mid Gear—40 levels (7%), High Gear – 25 levels (12%). The total resistance adjustment range is approximately 20–300%, allowing you to tailor the trainer’s performance to both relaxed endurance workouts and intense interval sessions.

Lightweight design and quick installation

The BC2 weighs only 7 grams, so it’s practically imperceptible while riding. The kit includes three sizes of silicone straps, allowing for installation in several locations on the handlebars—inside the upper grip, under the grip, or on the top of the handlebars. This lets you adjust the button placement to suit your preferences.

Long battery life on a single charge

The built-in 90 mAh battery provides up to 350 hours of operation, which, under typical use, means many months of training without the need for frequent charging. A full charge takes about 2 hours, and the universal USB-C connector makes it easy to use popular chargers and cables.

Resistance to intense workouts

The housing meets the IP65 standard, effectively protecting the electronics from dust, sweat, and splashes generated during intense workouts. The manufacturer also guarantees a button lifespan exceeding 100,000 presses, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free use.

Simple everyday use

The shifter is equipped with two intuitive buttons for increasing and decreasing resistance, as well as an LED indicating the device’s operation. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the BC2 automatically enters sleep mode to conserve energy. It can be reactivated by pressing any button, while holding both buttons down for 5 seconds resets the device.
