BALDRTHERM HCS596WB Solar-Powered, Wi-Fi-Enabled Thermohygrometer
The BALDRTHERM HCS596WB thermohygrometer allows you to conveniently monitor temperature and humidity directly from the device or via a mobile app. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity provide remote access to measurements, notifications, and stored data, while results are refreshed every 2 seconds, allowing you to keep track of changing conditions in real time. The model is equipped with a solar panel that extends its operating time, an easy-to-read display with a wide 180° viewing angle, and a feature that displays the temperature for a selected city.
Remote monitoring via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
The device works with a mobile app, enabling remote monitoring of temperature and humidity in your home. Connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allows you to check current, maximum, and minimum readings, view trend graphs, and use temperature and humidity alerts. The app also displays a 24-hour weather forecast and information on sunrise and sunset times.
Smart Notifications and Quick Response
The HCS596WB model allows you to set alarm thresholds for temperature and humidity. When these thresholds are exceeded, the app immediately sends a notification to your phone, alerting you to the change in conditions. The device supports, among other things, high-temperature and freezing-risk alerts, allowing you to respond more quickly to adverse environmental conditions.
Accurate monitoring and data storage
The thermo-hygrometer updates measurements every 2 seconds, providing real-time information on temperature and humidity. The data is presented in easy-to-read graphs, and the measurement history can be stored in the cloud free of charge for a period of 2 years. This allows you to conveniently analyze changes from both the last 24 hours and over a longer period.
Solar Panel and Easy-to-Read Display
The device uses a solar panel to supplement its power supply, which can double battery life and reduce the need for maintenance. The large display with a 180° viewing angle shows indoor temperature and humidity, city temperature, the DRY, COM, and WET comfort indices, and information on maximum and minimum values. Additionally, the user can select the temperature unit in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Comfort Index
The device makes it easy to assess environmental conditions thanks to the comfort index. The DRY level indicates humidity below 30%; COM corresponds to humidity between 30% and 70% at temperatures between 20°C and 26°C; and WET indicates humidity exceeding 70%. Additionally, an index is available that refers to conditions such as low humidity, comfort, high humidity, risk of overheating, mold growth, and chills.
